We originally purchased this monitor to replace the Sony Baby Call Nursery Monitor. We found that the the Sony had too much static and interference for our tastes. We saw the glowing reviews for this monitor, and decided to splurge. When it arrived, we were super excited. It was definitely a lot more sleek than the Sony, and much more compact. The sound quality was crystal clear, absolutely no static and never an instance of interference. And the temperature and humidity monitoring was an added bonus. The nightlight and lullabies were also kinda cool, but we never used those features. The nightlight wasn't very bright, so we stuck with our traditional nightlight, ...
